Are you aware that when you complain, your brain is being rewired for negativism?
Dr. Robin Kowalski, professor of psychology at Clemson University, believes there are 3 types of complainers:
1 -The Venters
Venters are people who just want to be listened to. They typically look for someone to listen to their complaints but are quick to shut down solutions, even when itβs good advice.
2- The Sympathy Seekers
These kinds of complainers always one-up your misery. They always, always have it worse than you and are quick to see the fault in situations and others.
3- Chronic Complainers
These kinds of complainers obsessively think and complain about a problem. Instead of feeling relaxed after complaining, they actually become worried and anxious from the act.
The problem is that whenever you complaints, thousands of neurons are triggered and form a neural network.
With times, the mind will find it easier to follow this network path that is already there. Making you a complainer, someone.
Remember, you can train your brain to do anything. Why not train it to find positivity and that way our brain will follow the network paths into happy and positivity. The more you work hard to find the positivity in every situation, the more in becomes automatic and normal to us.
Let’s invest more time in creating network parts into happy feelings and stop winning.
This is the real path to living a happier life and bring joy to the people around us.
